On 1st July 1980, Bhikangaon, an outstation of Khargone Parish was raised to a parish and some villages from Pandhana parish were annexed to it. Late Fr. Simon Mannara SVD was appointed the first Parish Priest. On 8th September 1982 the Sisters of St. Joseph of St Marc started working in the parish. St. Mary’s Hindi and English Medium School was opened in 2003..
