Ambadochar has got unique history as this village was part of West Nimar and later it became part of Pandhana parish. When Bhikangaon became Parish, Ambadochar, along with a few more Barella villages, was annexed from Pandhana to Bhikangaon and till 2007 it remained part of Bhikangaon Parish. It was raised to the status of parish in 2007 and Rev Fr. Pancratius Xalxo SVD was made parish priest of the new parish. Sisters of Sant Joseph Sevika Sansta joined the parish community in 2010
