When Rev. Fr. Motiraj was the parish priest of Pandhana, the present church construction was started in 1963 and was finished in 1967. Dhulkot was an outstation of Nepanagar,and was raised to the status of a parish on 14th June 1982. Rev.Fr. Tarcisius Sunni was appointed as its first parish Priest. In 1984 the Dominican Sisters of Presentation joined the parish community.
