Bros. Nicolas and Paul, the Franciscan brothers started Aulia mission in 1902. In 1903 the brothers started construction of a Church at Aulia. The Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus was built in 1907 and Fr. Dariret was the first resident priest from 1908 to 1934. Till 1905 the station Aulia was a sub-station of Khandwa Parish. In 1934 the Mission was handed over to Divine Word Missionaries. In the year 1960 the Sisters Servants of the Holy Spirit joined the parish community and are engaged in medical, social and educational activities. In 1997 the Parish was entrusted to the Society of the Catholic Apostolate, commonly known as Pallottine Society.
